1. Mohammed Bello

In 1781, Usman dan Fodio’s fourth wife, Hauwa or Inna Garka, gave birth to Muhammed Bello. His father, Bello, founded Sokoto in 1809, which became the main hub for Hausa’s conquest during the Fulani War (1804-1810).

2.  Abu Ibrahim (Nigerian politician)

Ibrahim was appointed FCDA’s Director of Administration in 1979 when the Federal Capital Development Authority moved its operations from Lagos to Suleja.

3. Amina Lawal

Amina Lawal Kurami, born in 1972, is a Nigerian actress, singer, and writer. a sharia court in Funtua in the northern Nigerian state of Katsina sentenced her to death by stoning after she committed adultery and had an unmarried child in 2002. Without DNA tests, the court ruled that the man she named as the father of the child was not convicted due to a lack of evidence.

An international uproar erupted following Lawal’s conviction. Sharia Court of Appeal overturned it, ruling that it breached Islamic law. She later remarried after the ruling was reversed.

4. Bello Mandiya

As a member of the All Progressives Congress, Bello Mandiya was elected senator for the Katsina South Senatorial District in the February 2019 Nigerian general elections (APC). Aminu Bello Masari’s former chief of staff served as governor of Katsina State.

He is a member of the Nigerian House of Representatives and was born on December 1, 1957. In 1999, he was elected to the Katsina State House of Assembly as a member of the People’s Democratic Party.
