Schlumberger Foundation Faculty for the Future Fellowship 2022/2023 (Funding Available)

Programs such as Faculty for the Future, which was created in 2004, provide fellowships for women from poor and emerging countries to pursue Ph.D. or post-doctoral research in STEM subjects at major universities throughout the world, including Harvard University.

Because there are a lot of requirements and deadlines, it is important that you read this article in order to learn everything you need to know about this program. Please see the following instructions to get an idea of what to expect.

A little bit about the Schlumberger Foundation Fellowship

To empower women and girls, the Schlumberger Foundation is committed to ensuring women have equal access to STEM programs. Science and technology breakthroughs will be boosted in local communities and areas where selected candidates are awarded for this program by facilitating STEM research for women scientists in emerging economies.

Applicants who are NEW

As a New Applicant, please create an account on the official website of Schlumberger foundation if you believe you match all of the eligibility conditions. As of September 8th, 2021 new applications for the 2022 Fellowships will be accepted until November 5th of that year (the deadline for reference letters is November 11th, 2021).

Applications for Renewal

Please enter your login information if you are a Renewal Applicant. Applicants may submit renewal applications between the dates of September 8th and November 5th of 2021 (the deadline for reference letters is November 11th, 2021).

REFEREES

References, please input your Username and Password from the automatic email you should have received in order to open the reference letter form (see information on passwords below). Use the last password you received if you have previously used this website to enter a reference letter. 

To change your password, click on “Account Settings” and then “Change Password” (see below for instructions). Before the 11th of November, 2021, all reference letters must be filed online (for NEW applications and RENEWAL applications).

(RE)SETTING PASSWORDS

After logging in, you’ll notice a message saying that your account is restricted for the first time.

You can make a reset to your password by tabbing on the “Account Settings” button.

At least 10 characters should be used, including uppercase, lowercase, digits (0-9), as well as the symbol ($&@). For example, Science22$ would be an appropriate password to use. We ask that you keep your login information in a secure place for future visits to this site.

Notice that the Username is the one provided by the system when the applicant submitted her application. Please check your mailbox for the Username and Password (including the Spam or Junk folder).
